Fight Osteosarcoma Together (FOT) Super Grant

impact

Battle Osteosarcoma, in collaboration with four other funding groups,  funded a $1.5 million grant for Dr. Patrick Grohar at the University of Michigan. The grant aims to investigate and discover new ways to treat MYC-amplified osteosarcoma, and to discover targeted therapies for osteosarcoma.

I have dedicated my life to the care of patients with bone tumors. There is an urgent need for novel approaches for osteosarcoma. We have a history of translating therapies to pediatric bone tumor patients, and are now seeing responses in the clinic. This grant allows us the opportunity to extend that experience to patients with osteosarcoma. We have one goal: to impact the disease.
